Dave Zabrowski

Dave Zabrowski has over 25 years of leadership success spanning both public company executive roles as VP/General Manager and private enterprise as President and CEO. His broad technology experience encompasses domain expertise in hardware and software information technology, semiconductors, optics and healthcare. Dave has raised over $100M in private capital, and has founded and/or led numerous start up business as well as the restructuring of established companies. Dave’s board experience includes Neterion, Vantagemed, vMobile Technologies, Cloud Cruiser, Tech Ed Networks, Refurb World, Sacramento Regional Technology Alliance, and University of Nevada at Reno.
Dave is currently founder and President of Granite Technology LLC, an advisory firm focused on incubating new companies and accelerating growth in emerging companies. Dave is the founder and CEO of Cloud Cruiser, an enterprise software company currently in stealth mode that is focused on the virtualized cloud computing market. Dave is also currently an Executive in Residence with Wavepoint Ventures and a Professional in Residence with DCA Capital.
Dave’s operational experience has most recently been with Neterion, where Dave led the company for 7 years as President and CEO from a venture backed start up to the #1 market leader position in the emerging high speed networking market. Prior to Neterion, Dave spent 16 years with Hewlett Packard, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of HP’s computer organization. In this role, he had P&L responsibility for a $2.5B business including server, PC and portable computing. Earlier, Dave held key General Management roles at HP for several start up businesses. Prior to HP, his landmark semiconductor optics research work at Boeing was published in the Journal of Applied Physics.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from UCLA.
